I had stopped drawing for a while because I'm getting old and has lots of things to do. I almost forgot how to draw. But when I play CK, it inspired me to resume drawing again. The game is great and the concept is very interesting for a cyberpunk maniac like me. The fan art below, I did it during my very short free time just for fun and wanna show to you guys. I think I'll draw more soon. Hope you guys like it.  |

kris - great work. I am a fledling artist of only 2 years now, so its great to see someone else re-interpreting my work. I love it. We have had some other fans mention a web comic -- you clearly have the talent for it! What is the font, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm glad you like it. You are doing fine with 2 years experience, keep drawing I'm sure you gonna be better. I've been drawing for almost 15 years but in the last 6 years, my skill rarery improved. Trust me when I say this, I have seen people who start drawing for only 3 years and they are now better than me. Just don't stop practicing.
About the font, I couldn't remember the name. Once I'm at home I'll look into it. The webcomic, I have a plot in mind. It's going to be a short story, maybe 30 pages long. Because doing a comic is a painfully slow process, I gotta make sure I can finish it.

kris - yep, this is Andrew. Thanks for the encouragement. I have noticed amazing gains in skill over the last two years, and just wish I had more time than the slim hours I can squeeze for Trese Brothers to do art. I keep wanting to do a blog post that compares my earlier works to the new copies, which is always pretty amazing juxtaposition! If you don't mind sharing the font at some point, I really like it, and have been planning some typographical updates for all of our games, so I'd be interested to know what it is. The web comic sounds very exciting. Happy to help any way we can (a place to host it, etc), and will promote you like crazy!

Hi Andrew, sorry for late reply... The link below is for downloading the font. The name is "DS Hiline". I'm not sure if the font is able to be used in commercial case, since most fonts on my laptop are from the company that I used to work for. Please be careful. Anyway I suggest you visit www.dafont.com, this site has so many nice fonts, most of them are loyalty free. The best part is they are similar to expensive fonts from well-known publishing companies. kris - We are actually in process of finding fonts already on DAFonts.com. Thanks for the hint, we had already found them. Great site! The first set of fonts will get released into Templar Assault maybe today. I think it will really help our games to have updated typography! On the web comic front, if you are working on it and want any proofreading, story suggestions, a place to host it online, or help in any way, let us know! We really love the idea of fan-fiction in any of its forms.

I am excited. I have a few story ideas too, but I know that we can really show a different light to the NBZ. I want to show everyone how real and breathing this arcology is. @ Andrew, I found your original reply as well and followed the link to the blog. I have sent all of this information down the pipe for others to preview.
I am still finishing The Nautilus ( the story somewhat got away from me, and the ending has been rather difficult to reign in with all of my other projects.)
I also have a few ideas for the name of the CK comic book, but I am interested in suggestions too.

I'd love to get involved with this, whether it's just proof-reading for errors or - hopefully - helping to write the stories, (I'm a wannabe writer and this would be perfect for me as I'm too busy with school to write anything longer than the odd short story). Please let me know if I can help!!
