Does anyone know how to start over from scratch / start a new or alternate character? I can seem to find a way to do this in the options interface.
Love this game by the way! Incredibly well designed and imagined!

@steamer - welcome the forum! Oh yes, most of us are playing 10+ different captains or something. I always have a army of them sitting around, all on different difficulties, etc. I am on Android -- there is just a "New Game" button at the top.

Thanks for the warm welcome!  I knew there must be a way... But I' m on a Kindle and that button doesn't appear anywhere in the interface!  I really would like to start an alternate character with different settings! - Steamer |

@steamer - that is really strange. It should be the very first button on the first line of buttons! You only have one captain? Can you post a screenshot? We try to support every Android device, but there are hundreds of them so sometimes we have device-specific issues.

We will fix! Any additional info you can provide would be great. I assume you downloaded off Amazon Market? Are you Elite or Free?

I've attached a screenshot from the current Amazon market release running on a Kindle Fire. I installed from the Amazon Market. The upper left button "New Game" will allow you to start a new Captain with different settings. Attachments:

HI guys! Thanks for the quick and thorough response! It was the free/trial version I was describing. As soon as I upgraded to elite, it was just as you described above!

question for the Dev, why didn't it appear until he upgraded? I only ask because i have so many people playing this game at my suggestion i have to answer all of their questions(they know about the forums, they might just be lazy lol)

@bamf - actually, I'd say we don't know. The button was always there and we made no changes to the code around the button between the updates. Maybe there was just some confusion on the line? Also, we do see that Amazon / Google can be a bit weird around updates.
This features does -not- require Elite, but we are glad an upgrade fixed it.
Are your friends still seeing this issue?
