Faction Space

There are a couple of small things I'd quite like in and around faction space:

• Coloured borders around faction controlled zones, I think this would make your friendly faction's home planets feel more like home. It would make it seem more like you are leaving on an adventure out into space if there was a clear, certain line you crossed to go into the dangerous red zones.*
  
• As an alternative to the above point, perhaps a lightly shaded colour for the whole tile showing the controlling faction instead of the coloured blobs, this would do pretty much the same thing as my above point and I've never particularly liked the dots - I tend to think they made space seem smaller.*
  
• A much higher likelihood of meeting faction warships patrolling their borders, and perhaps a message from the ship when you acknowledge saying something like 'good luck out there!' or 'beware, you are leaving safe space' if you had a high rep with that faction.
  

*Perhaps these could be optional in settings? E.g. 'toggle faction borders' or 'small dots/shaded squares'.

I don't know how feasible any of this is - but it would be cool if it could be done!

I would like t see something similar too. All i all we have this in "zoom map" but having it on the main map would be a nice feature.

We're still researching. Previous attempts on this haven't run well on first generation Android devices and ST is going to continue to support all devices, for better or for worse.

I added item #758 to the to-do list to continue the research and post any results back here to this thread.

sry boys,but do you mean something like small flags on planets which you already visited? like,in future you will know which faction is owner? ill be great,im looking forward to it!
