======== SPOILER ALERT ======== I read the journal. I found the targets. I returned them to the lab. If Eliza was supposed to join me, that didn't happen. She wanted to escape with her mother. I went to the Golden Flower. I phoned Luka. 1. The 'Mercer has explained the situation button' was still there. It should have vanished, as the operation is over. I pressed it. 2. There was a happy? button. I pressed it as well and got a forceclose. send a report, again no catlog, sorry. Ah, the button is still there and you get a fc every time. SO I can make a catlog. www2.openend.se/~lac/CK/luka-happycrash.lc.out

grävling - we are tracking the down the "You are happy?" Luka FC -- it is an unhitched dialog. Will try to resolve tonight. Once fixed, you can see her dialog. I will investigate the 'Mercer has explained the situation button' and see why it has not gone away. ========== SPOILER ================ If you chose to return the Krofter's to the lab, then you get the payment from Mars and will never see the Krofters again. You completed the extra investigation required to unlock the Eliza Krofter character, but followed the wrong lines of dialog. Focus on the journal.

I figured I could ask what her offer was and then tell Eliza that her wicked brainwashing mother is trying to rob her of the chance to be a Cyber Knight. But seems that if you asked for her offer you lose that outcome, which I think is a bit unfair. I'd have preferred get all the data on the table and then choose one of 3 things, with buttons so that you know that they are significant. Of course, only 2 buttons if you haven't found the journal.

grävling - thanks for the feedback. Definitely working on more ways to make -significant choices- more clear. Funny that with a touch screen, thats kind of hard 'cause everyone is just touching the middle of the screen repetitively. You almost need a warning, "Important Decision Approaching, Please Reduce Touch Speed." =) Great suggestion to continue to provide the option with Eliza even after asking the other set of questions. Will work on that one. Maybe Choices should require a Long-press so that you can't accidentally make on?

Maybe the long press idea is good, but so far the rest of the game seems to use buttons for choices:
Pay 200 to Heaven vs I haven't got it Spend 100 Y on my brother's taxi vs Piss Off! Should I Nuke this place no Plant the charge! vs No, wait.
so I tink making buttons for the choices: return the K to Mars Piss on Mars, help the K escape something else for the outcome I haven't seen yet
would make the seriousness of the choice evident.
Just talking is just talking. I don't think that you can make it be onvious that it is a significant choice, especially since you have been using buttons other places for significant choices. So that creates the expectation that this one will use buttons as well.
One of the interesting moral choices I think that matters here is do you tell Liza that her mother has been drugging her and using brainwashing techniques on her? Is Liza capable of making a decision on her own as to whether or not to be a Cyber Knight? Does anybody care what Liza wants? Or only to control her wants so they will be the 'correct' ones -- the ones that serve somebody else's interest?

grävling - I was actually suggesting that the choices (Pay 200 to Heave vs. I haven't got it) might be converted to long press, because we still get a lot of reports of people clicking through dialogs and then accidentally making the choice all of a sudden.

I am all in favour of requiring long presses to advance dialogs, but, in addition to that I am in favour of hard irrevocable decisions being made by buttons with text printed on them -- not the sort of buttons you get with a picture of a golden torso and head beside them.

Upcoming release will fix the FC with the "Happy?" button.

I figured the same thing. Wish I would've read this post prior to getting to that point in the MnB storyline last night.

lucian - we have issue #CK-1167 in our system to resolve this bug. Sorry that it got you! Much appreciated. It bummed me out when it happened because I was specifically attempting to see that part of the storyline with my current CK. Oh well, now I know what to do until it gets resolved in a future release. Thanks and keep up the good work.

#CK-1167 is fixed for the next release. (SPOILER) If you've unlocked the option to possibly get Eliza on your team, then asking Krofter what her offer is does not close the door on getting Eliza.
