I've completed 25 contracts on level demanding and I didn't get the award. I failed 2 contracts, 1 expired. Is there anything else that I should do to get the award?

Here is the check:
Contracts Won >= 24 Contracts Failed <= 6 Contracts Won >= (Contracts Rejected + Contracts Expired)

Contracts taken - 29 Rejected - 23 Completed - 27 Failed - 1 Expired 2 I'm not really king of the math, but shouldn't I get the award?

Yeah definitely. What is the hall of records saying? I'm almost sure if you visit "Palace > Hall of Records > Records Exploits" you'll get several awards!
PS: Nice 100% win. I'll add an award for that in 3.4.8

I got the award after I went to Palace> Hall of Records > Records Exploits! Thanks! And sorry for bothering You Cory, I didn't know that I have to go there to get award. I thought that I get them automatically after I meet the conditions in description.

There's an Application ShootMe on android market.

neo -- it is no problem. Originally I was checking for award conditions all over and it started to slow the game down. It needs better documentation and player help.
Any ideas where you were looking when it wouldn't give you the awards? I'd like to put a message in that spot about going to the palace =)

I was looking into Menu>Awards>Completed/Character , also in the Palace>Hall of Records>Captain score, dunno why I didn't check Record Exploits -.- . I'm not shure if You need to make any change/info just because of my mistake, but maybe if You do something about that others won't have the same problem as me

I want to help people like Joe too -- he's posted on the Elite review page (where I cannot respond) that he wants to get Expert Contractor. Now that you have the award, could you post on there (if you have Elite?)
Just tell him that ST RPG is awesome fun and he should visit the Palace. Reviews like Joe's can turn off new players really fast and I have no way to respond to him.

I play the free version, because I'm not sure if my old G1 (HTC Dream) can handle bigger Elite :/. So if any Elite player read this please respond to Joe

it isn't much bigger in file size. give it a try -- I'll refund you if it doesn't work for you after a day or two.
No worries either way, but I love the bigger map =)

I'll try Elite soon. About the 100% win ratio award - I think it's a good idea, but You sholud define how many encounters should be won with 100% win ratio. Maybe 50? Another Award could be for fighting first 10-20 ships you meet without running away or surrendering (difficulty demanding?). 'Kamikaze' ?

I love the bigger maps too, but for some reason I typically only get offered contracts that make me fly my butt all the way from one corner of the map to the one diagonally opposite. Sure it's great for frequent flier reward points, but it's a little bit of pain. In honesty though, my biggest gripe is that my ships hold is just too small given a cross-quadrant flight. I always seem to run into some Steel Song ships and I feel honor-bound to board and strip all cargo out of that ship before setting its self-destruct. Before you know it, you have to be selective about what stuff you ... umm ... borrow. What we need is a nice bag of holding, but then, that's a different game I didn't know about the rejecting contracts impacts on this award though. I always reject contracts that might annoy my trade partners. It's cheaper to reject them than have to go through the trouble of bribing an official for yet another trade permit or death warrant <grin>

Actually, just following up on the rejected contracts thing. I'm definitely finding that I have to reject contracts a lot. The reasons I am rejecting are: 1) I have to go to a Star Dock or Palace of some faction that hates my guts. I know I can't actually get there, so I either have to accept the contract and fail, or reject it up front.
2) The contract is against one of the factions I have high rank/reputation with. The reward is low, and the cost of having to re-purchase a Rank is high. Because of the fact that even if you are doing a stealth mission in deep space, you still immediately get pinged for working against your faction, it's a no brainer. You have to reject those missions.
Proposed solutions 1) have an option where contracts are laid out like new ship purchases, so you don't have to reject them to see the next contract (or because you just can't do it)
AND/OR 2) if your stealth skill is high, you should be able to do some missions against your favored factions without them actually finding out. Sort of like a percentage chance of being discovered. Right now, it is sitting at 100% chance of discovery. It should be much much less than that, especially if the package is small, you are stealthy, etc.
In fact for #2, the higher the rank/reputation you have, the lower the actual chance of detection (because you are meant to be trusted at high rank/rep). However, IF you are actually detected, the fall will be significant - perhaps as much as 50% of your reputation points with that faction (and appropriate numbers of demotions). This way, you can do some occasional missions against your faction, but it's fraught with risk and danger.
