Yeah Andrew, really awesome improvements in the art. Your Outlander and Thief both look really amazingly great. I really hope you guys can get the Alpha out soon, but I'll be going on vacation during the middle two weeks of September.. So..... I hope it get's pushed back to the end of September  haha. Thanks for the update, guys. Always exciting to get new information. |

It's a highly modified font, yes. Lots of effects and about 4 layers in there. It's the bitmap font we have built to use for Heroes of Steel. Somewhere in its history is a .fnt file.

Were the people who donated to the HoS KickStarter receiving the game for free, or we are still paying for the Elite copy? I don't remember.

Sorry, because of Google's content developer guidelines (rules by which we must abide, or we are subject to being banned from the Play store) we cannot give away a copy of the game for free on any alternate channel if we are charging on Google Play. We pinged KickStarter and the Google customer support department on this issues for alternatives and were flatly told "no" on both accounts. So, we were never able to add "free copy of the game" to any of the rewards in the KickStarter. |

I see the imminent release of HoS is making other devlopers nervous. The Bard's Tale is on sale on Google Play today. Anyone played it? Is it any fun?

I played it on PS2 and it was great (lots of cynical humor, some sort of open world and a lot of monster to kill  ). I don't know for sure if the version available on Google play is the same but it look like. If it is and you haven't tried it yet, I recommend it. |

dayan - it's a top-down, turn-based system yes. Can't wait to previous some video ... you'll see its a waay past Templar Assault! You can read a lot more about it at the KickStarte page, especially browsing back through the update stream you'd see a ton of video and art about the game, where its headed, and what we've been able to achieve so far!

If not free, how about discounted price? - sorry, we've spent hours reviewing the options on how to make this work without breaking the Google guidelines or without creating some side-car APK that will an unmaintable nightmare. We know its a bummer that we are going to ask the Elite price of our most awesome backers, but it will happen  EDIT: On second thought, awesome idea! We can simply stage a sale and make sure that all of the KickStarter backers are aware of the timeline for the sale, so everyone can buy in for a discount! |
