Whilst you are considering character classes for Templar Assault how about a creature class?

You can't arm them or give the armor But they are not restricted by human speed/strength... so whereas templars max at 6... they could max Higher... perhaps gain XP faster to offset the fact you cant arm them.

Templar scientists learn how to genetically alter Xenos to make them more trainable?
