I understand the hydra being excluded from the benefit of the ammo kits in the interest of balance. The description of the Plasma Incinerator weapon states that this weapon taps into the armors internal reactor. In the context of this concept I wonder then if it would be possible to get a slight ammo bonus with the more powerful upgrade hydra armor? with the more powerful and more efficient internal reactor maybe 10 or 20% or whatever depending on the armor. I think a hefty price increase on hydra armors would balance this. The reasoning for this to me is that if you are playing on a difficulty that makes the upgrade armor necessary then a few extra incinerator bursts could be critical!

Yeah ... or the armor actually increases damage potential (generates more heat)?

Hmmmm........how about another armour with ammo/damage boost and not tied into existing armour suits or just a consumable. armory item like the ammo kits are. like a reactor overcharge or a core siphon or reactor couple or something. because these would burn out from operating beyond specs they would only last a single mission like ammo kits
