hmm maybe you could add red sectors showing range like it is in CK?

koles - so the full range is always available, as opposed to only highlighting valid targets?

no, only to show where we can shot, for example when we are defending or to know how to place tempers - it would be good information for fresh players like me to be honest, I played free version 3 times but only after buying elite and playing second campaign I figure out that I can shot in diagonal today I also saw that leviathan cannon can't shot target 3 sqares forward and 1 left (so should be 4) in open room so its strange for me.

@kolo - the diagnol shooting is a new feature as of a week or two ago. I can see that painting the ground with a red-overlay would really help new players and everyone alike. The Neptune Cannon is a "plant and shoot" kind of heavy weapon which does not allow you to shoot at an angle (too powerful). Straight line only. Having red-overlay would help make that very clear!

Lol. Knowing this might have saved me in my last Brutal attempt at Vengeance of the Templar.

I know someone brought this up (couldn't find it) but there are holes in my firing arc ! is it just some devices? The Neptune can't fire too close to other Templars. I'm working on improving the firing arc for an upcoming release. I've tested it a lot and haven't found it to have any unexpected holes, but I very well could be wrong.

I need to finish up on my campaign, then I can start really testing some firing arcs. I know just the map to do this so will keep you posted.

It's hard doing a screenshot of not being able to target something. It's easier to screenshot the ole red target receptacle Nonetheless, that's what I will be doing to map out the firing arcs.

That's my experience too ... illogical black spots in the firing arc that prevent targeting. I've had situations though where the top-right knight couldn't target the xeno either, but I think I was facing north, not west.

I'll keep working on it. In the meantime, I don't think we can go back to the straight line shooting without making people mad.
I'm about out of weekend hours and will have to go back to the 60 hour a week office grind tomorrow morning so ... maybe if I can figure it out tomorrow night we can get a release fix.
Thanks for the screenshots, that gives me someplace to start. The issue screenshot attached above is showing that the wall is blocking the shot, but it's a "illogical" as SlayerNZ put it.
