Okay I've played through the tunnel portion of MnB several times now.
Wondering if the tutorial function of the tunnels might not be improved with a better way to manage heat and rep.
With the way it is currently, you can quickly build up the needed rep with FN to move out of the tunnels. Problem is from a tutorial standpoint it may give new players a false idea of how heat works. Doing jobs in the NBZ generates global heat. Do enough of the wrong sorts of jobs like captures and even in sectors where you have a great rep you'll start feeling the heat and getting more bad encounters. In the tunnels it's nearly impossible to generate heat in the FN side and Black Row. Also I don't think I've ever seen an encounter in FN or Black Row even when I've managed to create some global heat there.
Adding say a Streets connector that you could unlock on the LV side who would only give cheap deliveries and pick ups targeting both FN and LV, could be a way to teach new players some technics for managing both rep and heat up topside and the possibility for getting some Finnian encounters might help encourage players not to loiter to long in the tunnels.
Finally adding such a connector and (hopefully) better rep and heat management would make things a bit less grim once exiting the tunnels. I've left the tunnels after a rather lengthy stay (was around 170xp and 30K) and found my global heat to be over 50! (That's in factions other than the 3 you have in the tunnels )
Really a pain when your liable to get jumped every other step you take, especially when you turned down all capture contracts and only killed your designated targets in assassinations except when escape route blocked. Also lots of time spent in all 3 hotels/safe house to try and keep heat and rep more manageable. (FN Rep was at +61, LV Rep was -39 don't remember Streets but think it was around -19 on tunnel exit)
