Is it statisticly possible to get over AP 14 without implants? Yes. Dex 9 Int 9 Per 9 = 27/2 = 13 (or one of these could be only 8, as the game rounds down) + 3 (everybody gets 3 + (i + p + d)/2) +2 (MP 10 and I just rolled a 2 on my 3 sided die with faces 0, 1, 2) 18 AP Total 18! Now that's a goal to shoot for. Thank you.

@missionhill
My concept was that Augmented Synapses are non removable upgrades that require all levels to be bought and upgraded ontop of each other. So to get level 2 you must have level 1. To get level 3 you must have level 1 & 2, so on and so forth.
I would want this item to come with a warning that It's not removeable AND caps AP.
I'd want level 1 to be dirt cheap (500-1k¥) to tempt you. The downside being a lower maximum AP (thank you for the cap info grävling) and presumably a big ¥ cost.

Yurak thanks for info and idea. I like the freedom of the implants as the game already has it. What is benefit of the required lvl1 first, etc? It sounds like more work for devs and players where the gameplay as it is works fine. Also unremovable chips poses a problem when new updates introduce new implants. What if you are maxed and can't try a different implant introduced from update? I vote autonomous implants.

I suggest an implant that automatically reloads firearms. Bullets from the belt move over torso into magazine. 3 chips can be sold pistol auto loader, ATW, shotgun. Could be combined with firearm implant.

Perhaps a drug injector. Four slots for four needles. Special liquid drugs would be needed. You could quickly inject four Stim for just say, maby four AP? Instead of taking a full turn to open your pack.

ncaoa - sounds like the already designed and drawn "nano-injector" set of implants. Stay tuned!

Speaking of nano, what exactly does the "Nano attack destroys you" encounter do?

I think it is supposed to rot your equipment, but equipment do not need maintenance yet.

I would like an add-on for my cyberclaws that lets me set them to 'do MP damage' or 'do HP damage' or 'do both (like now)'. It wouldn't have to be perfect. I just would like to be able to kill predator drones more effectively.

My problem is that they are doing mostly shock damage _now_ and I would like to be able to set them to focus on HP damage since this is a Drone.

Ah. I get it. I wonder how it would work? Heavier blades? Or vibroblades? On the subject of blades, perhaps their sharpness could degrade over time like equipment?
