If you planned to take a taxi somewhere, and the region is locked down, you don't get the little 'you are here' indicator that shows where your destination is. But it would be nice to have, even if you cannot taxi there, because it will tell you which zone that you can reach is closest to that destination.

How about an indication on the mini map showing which are locked down. Lets say it turns orange when its locked down.

The only problem with making the zones a different color during lock down is if you have a job there it's suppose to be red. Perhaps marking the zones with an X might be less confusing.

I think grävling's issue is that you can't know where the building is in the zone because you can't see the "Your target is here" indicator because of the lockdown.

The outer border is supposed to be red. But changing the entire colour of the region, so that the roads were red and the ground was red-grey by adding +20% red all over to the image shouldn't be a problem.
