Does having the pilot as an officer prevent radiation storm damage? I'm still taking wounds with a pilot.

I think pilots will plot a course around radiation storms, but only after it becomes known to you, so the first time you find one you'd still take damage.

There are rumors of radiation storms that you can pick up, but when you're flying, you tend to discover them only by flying into them. Maybe an upgrade for your ship could include advanced sensors that detect storms more than 1AU away.

The rules state that the Pilot Officer completely negates the Radiation Storm damage. It works that way in Android but in the iOS version the check is incorrectly coded. |
