ST version: 3.3.1 iOS version: 6.1.2
Through explore/harvest on a planet, you can get below 0 health without adverse effect. Then, the moment you encounter a new ship, you're "killed in action" (hilariously) following the encounter, even if you only "acknowledge" them.

This is a bug on every platform: you can't die from 0 health when over a planet. If you can manage to enter an urban zone without encounters, see a doctor and heal yourself, you'll be able to not die. One encounter though and its game over.

The death comes from a healtcheck done during encounter results. I'm surprised that there is no healthcheck in place for wilderness actions (Harvest/Explore).

v3.5.1 improves the error messages and health management during exploration in iST a little bit, but still isn't a complete fix.
