Major improvements coming tonight or early tomorrow morning.
Announcing ... Resume Waypath Navigation!
Encounters no longer stop the Captain and require new navigation coordinates. Combined with the "Rapid Encounter Depart" option the game's speed is vastly increased.
Many other changes I just figured out how to do. Great day for me, I think many of you will be pleased.

ehkamp -- Is it the resume movement fix?
I suspect long time ST RPG players are like "OMG Finally!"

The Take All button for exploring twinkles like one of Davy Jones' eyes to me.

Now if there was only a way to automatically transfer what you found at an explore site directly to your cache (so if you found more than your ship cargo could hold, you don't have to leave any juicy stuff behind) ... See ... no matter what you do, there's always one punter that is never satisfied It's probably because I mostly fly Cadar that I have this attitude though <grin>

This cannot be allowed as the design says that the "Hold Size" is the balancing factor for an Explorer and Merchant.
I'm going to stick to this theory for now. I suppose

It's a great theory and you should definitely stick to it. I was just being greedy because want to keep everything I find and not share with the native critters. I mean to say, what the hell does the local fauna want with designer clothing?

You mean you never lost crew to a Javanese Hat-Eater or a Kuldotha Pantsovore?
It's just better to explore some planets in the nude...
