So I was just running through the mission Secrets of Endvidius on the campaign Secrets of a Dark Age when the unthinkable happened..... a bug! Or at least I think it was one. I was playing through the map and had to make a phone call, so I backed out to my "desktop" and made the call. After about 5 minutes I started TA back up and continued playing the map. Strange thing I noticed was that all of the mission dialogue tiles were back. Meaning, when you walk a step and have some mission text pop up. "eh, screw it" I thought to myself as I finished destroying the last egg sac batch. That made it three separate egg sacs, central next to the orange thingy, the left most southern batch, and the left most northern batch. I tried to extract and.... nothing. Mission wouldn't end. So... either I missed an objective (I don't think so) or the mission progress was reset somehow. Really sucks cause I had wracked up about 60 kills with my squad and screenshotted it out for the Unit 314 thread. All that progress.... lost

Ok, replayed through the mission and found out what went wrong. I'm not sure if progress was lost at all or not, but on the map the extraction/insertion area is six squares of orange, 3x2. Looks like this.
[o] [o] [o] [o] [o] [o]
But there are actually only 4 extraction squares there, two of them actually won't actually trigger the mission ending. so the extraction area actually looks like this.
[o] [o] [o] [o] [x] [x]
If this isn't clear enough I can post a screenshot later. Basically, could you either remove the orange color on the first two squares -or- extend the extraction area to cover those two spots.

Thanks a lot, fallen.
Also, in the next mission of the campaign (the last one, I can't remember the name) it appears that the extraction zone may have a similar problem. I didn't test it, but it might be worth a check. the extraction zone looks like this:
[o] [o] [o] [o] [o] [o] [o] [o]
but it looked like only the first 6 squares actually functioned like extraction squares, meaning this:
[o] [o] [o] [x] [o] [o] [o] [x]

Testing seems to show that progress is not lost.
If you're ever kicked out to the main menu, you should be able to resume from there too.
