The only version of the map I have is black background, which is a waste of toner, so I can't slice mine up very usefully sorry

Looks like Fenisko did chop it up into 4 pages, I tried printing them one at a time. No way this boy could print it without even less than a quarter. Could'nt get it to look right on landscape either.
P.S. Slayernz I was printing the one with white background for the same reason, black uses too much toner.
Added an edit above, qudos for the excellent map you produced.
I was so dumb I thought is was just a bunch of blue buildings at first.

I am not following. What exactly is the problem with the map chopped to 4 slices? Should be 8? It was meant to be printed to A3 paper each I think. It is generated automatically from the game database, so I can do any tuning you would like to have.

Where is says , " for easier printing 1 2 3 4" Read more: startradersrpg.proboards.com/thread/2540/map#ixzz2Y00vfCe8For example if I click on 1, I see the upper left part of the quadrant map. Then I click on the little gear icon in the right of my screen. From there I can do page setup and print. If I reduce it to 30% of the original size, the letter "T" appears at top right of printed page. I know if I got the whole thing it would read "The". The printed page can only fit horizontonal columns from -10 to 8. The vertical -10 to 11. If I print page 1 at default size it will display horizontal -10 to -2, Vertical -10 to -2. I think you meant to make it easy to print 4 pages in portrait, one for each quarter of the quadrant, then tape or mount the edges together to get a whole map. So I'm guessing my printer is not doing the job. I was asking myself what if it could be split into 8 pages? Could I print it then? What is A3 paper? Anyway the map is so beautifully done, I was trying to figure out a way to get Kinkos to print the full color map, however the whole map single image that is also referenced in the post would have to be blown up to a much bigger size. Which is exactly what I would want Kinkos to do, I would want them to create a poster size of the map, I just don't know if that's something they can do.

I believe A3 is a European paper size that does NOT match any U.S. paper sizes.
To be most usable by U.S. people, you'd want to make each of the 4 sections "for easier printing 1 2 3 4" conform to a common U.S. paper size: 8.5x11 inches is most common U.S. size; 8.5x14 inches is also common; 11x17 inches is less common, but available on many professional grade office printer/copiers, and gives one more area.

John Robinson - Your printer or the program you use for printing does not do it's job. The images should be following each other so they should be tape-able together. I would recommend to print it using Photoshop or GIMP which is free. Print each of the split pages using the same settings and you should be good as far as it prints the whole image. Anyway I have added 3x3 split to the links. BTW: I did not really check if the images are split correctly. I kind of trust my programming skills . Have to double check.

Fenikso Thanks for going to the extra effort. I was sure the problem was on my end. Will follow up with the results. +1 K
