I once thought: Wouldn't it be nice if you could transfer your captains from... mini to RPG to elite. I do know that you can transfer captains from RPG to elite,but as far as I can say, you babe transfer them any other way, such as mini to RPG. Is that even possible?

Jacob - sorry, the Star Traders Mini game has not been updated since October 2011. I am glad you have upgraded to Star Traders Elite because you've just received a major update! While there were a lot of requests for ST Mini when we first started, interest in it dropped off and therefore, so did our support. Sorry that your captains are stuck there for the time! Let's see what voting says.

Didn't upgrade to elite, will do one you can pay with PayPal in Germany because I don't have a credit card... thanks for considering the voting option, I thought: why not make the users decide.... what's different between elite n RPG? But the planets,ships n so on? BTW; h how many ships can Android 4.4 support? I assume 1024 or2048?

We patched the ship database, it should support up to around 4,000 before we have to do something extreme.
The Mini version uses a different saved game format that isn't compatible with RPG or Elite, so no Import is possible.
RPG and Elite are substantially different -- Elite has more content in every dimension.
- 300% more map space
- Adds 400 more ships
- Adds 100 more planets
- More officers, upgrades, enemy types
- Higher Rating Everything (max is 25 in elite, 10 in free)
Elite is really the full experience, but you can get comfortable with all the systems in Free.
Nothing is "Elite only" just the advanced parts of each system are reserved for the bigger map and higher challenge Elite modes.
