I once had the idea: What would be if I had multiple ships at the same time, maybe just 2or3. Would require the costs to keep the ships up and running, would only be possible with a faction where you'd be immortal hero and the 2nd one would be a rank ship. Mhhh?

Ah. A commision for the right to fly a fleet. I like it. The combined signitures of all your ships would be HUGE though.  |

yeah, that'd be it! Or a faction flagship in command and a freighter and smth with high amounts of torpedoes and guns and crew. Warship to kill them and the freighter to get the stuff!

Jacob - Feanor and Gravling were the two backers at the highest tier, Sonny and rabidbite backed at the second highest level. Why make ST: Battlefleet a separate game? I think that having a fleet in ST:RPG would be pretty damn cool.

@whitegauntlet - the hope would be to have a "transfer captain" command in ST BattleFleet where you could bring your captain and his / her drydocked fleet into Battlefleet.
Making a new game gives us a huge amount of flexibility to do things better, rewrite the saved game formats, use a new cross-platform game engine, etc. ST:RPG is a 3 year old code base and it is not suited for adding a new game "on top."

fallen Phew! Another Supporter of my idea! So... How many till you are gonna implement it? xD Love your games... So, why not making it possible? Only 2 ships at the same time, maybe 3 when ya got enuff cash... and some ranks, I would say... And a certain level.... 20+
