Easy money start

You can start as just about anything, but explorer might be the best class. As for factions, it is "best" to start as Clan Javat so you can get your trade permit quickly. After starting head to Tucanae-Javat Mining [-2,-5]. Go to the wilderness and start to explore, or harvest. The Wilderness there has a rating of 4 for danger, exploration, and harvesting. Here you can stock up on valuable items relatively quickly, and if you are exploring you can also work on your faction rating with Clan Javat by selling artifacts, electronics, and weapons. After exploring simply take your haul and head to the Urban area. Sell your loot, recruit more crew (They can start dying rather quickly), and heal yourself.

It can make you crazy money, the only downside is that you don't get experience (I just got an idea for a suggestion), and that at the higher ranks in Clan Javat your promotions are EXPENSIVE. This is the method I used to get the Quick Ranks awards.

Hey Taset, it's great though - you're reinforcing an approach that does work well. Lots of newcomers to the forum have no idea what to search for when they turn up, so having a straight forward way spelt out means that they are one step closer to being successful themselves!
