Just wanted to share a contract I just completed.
So I took out a bounty hunter mission on Xeen at the spice hall. The orders were to capture this guy and bring him to justice. Not a problem, the guy would have to have engines the size of my whole ship to escape me, IMHO. The guy's alliance is listed as independant, which just makes it all the easier. I go to the assigned point and patrol for his sorry *ss, when my political officer informs me that this guy is flying colors of convenience, and I see he is actually registered to House Thulun. Oh well, no love lost there, and I said I would do the job. The battle is hilariously short, and I enjoy looting his vessel for a few minutes. After I depart the victory screen, I'm informed again by my political officer that he is actully and operative for the De Valtos Sydicate. WTF? Was I the only honest person in the quadrant today?
