Not sure if this is intended or not, but I just realized you can resell your gear for 100% of the buying price. This means that you can constantly reshuffle your gear, upgrading every time you get some extra honor with very little risk.
If it is intended, might I suggest some depreciation on armor? I can totally understand how weapons would maintain their worth because, well, they can be easily repaired and maintained. However, the leviathan armor is getting beat on constantly. As such I think we should lose a little bit of honor when reselling it.

Cool, I noticed it just a couple days ago and thought it was a little weird.

The resale price is definitely 50% of new value. The area of confusion is the listing of the honor value for the weapon when you are equipping the squad. The honor value for a Devastator gun is 2700. This is what shows up in the equip section too.
When you sell, you get confirmation that the unit was sold, BUT you don't get any detail of the sell price. So if anything, an enhancement request for adding the sale value would be good.
Flow: 1) User presses "sell" on a weapon. 2) Confirmation check "This weapon will sell for x honor. Do you wish to proceed?" [Sell] [Cancel]
I tested the actual sale price using an existing squad. Sold a Devastator (buy price 2700). Honor before sale: 398542 Honor after sale: 399892 Difference: 1350
It was definitely configured for 50% resale value

Ah, good catch slayernz. I didn't think about the actual amount of honor getting refunded, just saw the value listed on the equipment tag and thought to myself it was strange. Maybe change that honor listing?

The honor value is pulled straight from the weapons database (It's a mirror of the store itself). It's also useful to see the value of the weapon (or armor, etc) so removing the value isn't useful. It would mean either adding an additional line in the listing for "resale value", (which would allow Cory to do some trickier calculations for sales), or add the confirmation screen on "sell" press.

The pop-up will now ask you, "Sell this gear for 2,200 Honor?"
Fixed!

Sorry for not realizing that the honor was actually halved. I just saw the number in the equipment screen and thought that it was weird.

Not your fault johndramey - this wasn't documented and the feature hasn't been in for all that long (in the grand scheme of things). Fallen's putting in the confirmation dialog, so we'll be sweet all the same
