I just had a Cadar Pirate encounter and was I got the message to the effect of "this is outside Cadar territory so they have no authority here". This was in Orbit around Cadar Prime.  |

Were you outside of torpedo range? That's how Cadar measure sovereignty.

Yeah, but at least you know your vote counted for something that made a difference. At the worst, you got a celebratory firework, at best, some silly Steel Song ship got its hull ventilated.
