People use portrait!? I assumed the majority would use landscape before I found this thread. I only use landscape, so I was surprised to see this.

I use landscape on my Visionbook 7Q tablet, because it has rumors button, unlike portrait.

I use whichever is easier for the game.
Star Traders, portrait.
Every other TB Game, landscape, as there is no other one with portrait mode.

I find that with Star Traders, it has a lot to do with the screen size. On a device like a phone, I can only play portrait, because the game is oriented such that it has long vertical lists of menus. If that stuff falls off the bottom, its really annoying. However, on a tablet, I play landscape, but that has less meaning, just like the screen setup in that case.

Portrait. I play on my tablet, either in bed or on my steering wheel while sitting in my truck waiting to be loaded/unloaded. It just seems right.

Portrait for me, being able to play it one handed makes it easier to run a couple quick contracts blockade Rychart Prime for a few turns.
