Enjoying the benefits of 20/20 hindsight, I could've gone for a higher difficulty. Not knowing the last two campaigns, I didn't feel confident enough, but at no point did I lose a templar or feel really pressured. Ah well, the bar is set. Next time, xenos, next time...

With that said, this challenge came at a really busy time for me. I don't think I'll be able to finish it, but I'll keep on trucking. Either way I'll post the points that I did manage to get, but I'm not sure if I'll be really in the running.

Congrats to Cyrus, that score isn't half bad at all! You have more than I do currently, and if I don't get to sit down during a break at work tomorrow and finish the challenge you'll probably beat me at least

I have a very short amount of time to get Major Problem and his squad to the end of the 3 campaigns. Ack! Captain Doofus did complete his tour but I didn't note down the per campaign scores or anything exciting like that. Actually, Captain Doofus was a blatant waste of Templar time.

Captain Mary Magdalene's report on the Whites of Their Eyes campaign.

Captain Magdalene elected to use full squads for the Stardock Raid, rotating her Templars to let them all gain needed experience.

She decided to change things up for the Tour of Duty campaign. For the first mission, she took her lesser experienced scout Tasha, building her confidence and skill. The extended deployment missions that followed after that required more fire power. So she took her two warriors, Abby Lee and Querelle. While succeeding at their objectives, Captain Magdalene felt that they weren't 100% committed. To show her entire squad what a truly motivated Templar could do, she completed the three remaining missions herself.

Confident that she had gotten her point across, she started the Infernus System Rescue with her other scout Yasmin. She preformed her job very well during the initial extended missions. But tragedy at the very end and Yasmin was killed moments before the missions were completed. There was no time to grieve for there was still much to do. For the next mission, she took Tasha and Querelle, her melee inclined warrior. They destroyed scores of zenos, taking some vengeance for Yasmin. Abby Lee joined them in the lift on the way to the bridge where they continued to slaughter any zeno they could find. They shut down the ship systems and took the bridge with little problem. Finally, they made their way to the extraction point. Then watched with satisfaction as the ship and remaining zenos burned in the atmosphere. A fitting send off for Yasmin.

Major Problem and his squad have finally reported in after wading through a rather messy last campaign.
I'm claiming the MVT, Templar Globe Trotters and No Stinkin' Xeno's awards, and would have claimed the Iron Man award three times if it weren't for the fact that on the Tour of Duty campaign, two missions actually failed if you exceeded a number of turns. Logicus Lifter, for example, had a 31 turn limit! How rude, as I had to repeat the mission and kill less.

Well, sorry it took me so long to post. Between the AoP alpha and work I couldn't complete everything. I managed a measly score of 7 (I AM IRONMAN x1, Duke's Dukes x3 (completed the every mission so far in melee) I played on Brutal, but could only finish 7 missions, only one of the campaigns. Sorry I couldn't finish it up, this past week and a half has been absolutely crazy.

Im pretty new at Elite, having just purchased after a year of just the introduction. I was a also a dummy who deleted the free game before exporting my game so im playing with cherries. Between that and my jobs and artwork I havent been able to get through a mission without having at least one guy splatted. But since I AM from Texas, everyone has been using ranged weapons exclusively.
