The visible options for the disposal of the vessel imply I either change ships, or burn it. Could you add an option to leave it?
I'm afraid to try to change it, because I don't want to lose my pimp azz war sloop.
So I burn it ALL! is that bad?

There is a back button on that screen, I believe, but perhaps that is confusing as the other two options are listed in text?

Correct. The back option is implied. The other two are direct actions. You don't expect me to actually think, do you fallen? (Sarcasm).

ships like this are called 'a prize'. Assuming you have the legal right to take them, of course. Privateers and ships of the appropriate navies would send a skeleton crew aboard. When they got the ship to the nearest friendly port -- assuming they did, wrecked-to-the-point of surrender ships could sink, of course -- there was a strict payout of wealth to the whole crew for the value of the prize. A French (man o) warship that could be made ready for war again was of greater value that the average Frigagte. Merchant ships were sold but the real divy was the value of the sold cargo.
Some ships might be dangerous to sail back to port with, and you might put 'Chips' (your ship's carpenter) aboard. If you just sent the ship off, well, assuming it arrived, then you need to wait for the Admiralty court to condemn it as a fair prize -- and then, ching, ching, there goes your bank account. And your crew's bank account as well. Nothing makes a crew more rabidly loyal and happy than to have a prize-loving captain whose luck is in. Or you might escort your prize to the nearest friendly port --- if you feared it would be sunk or retaken.
I think all of these are cool ideas for AoP.

We are very excited to be planning to add a prize ship scheme (and prize crew requirement) to Age of Pirates in the future, privateer license (Letter of Marque) and proper Conflict required and all. This one was well researched and put into the plan.

Future Options:
- Hang Captain / Burn Ship - Ransom Crew and Captain - Prize Crew Ship to Port - Hide Ship in Cove - Sell Ship and Crew to Corsair - Take Command of Ship Immediately
