Nice with the quick patches, a lot of activity early in the cycle will help to bring in players. I've left reviews for both the free and the elite version. Would suggest that people write a longer review, as a short 5 star review could be seen with some suspicion by random players. It is really awesome to see the game go from 10-50 downloads on the first day to 1,000-5,000 downloads now. Elite is at about 100-500 downloads, so would I be right in guessing about 10% conversion rate for you guys? Either way, I hope it's going along with expectations

Just downloaded Age of Pirates Elite v0.1.9 on the Kindle Fire HD 8.9. Up and running. Will you be adding version number to splash screen so I can see if Amazon auto update is working? Obviously they have not updated to new version, will report back when it hits. Just finally got the Star Traders Elite 5.1.1 auto update from Amazon. About time they got around to it! I did get the auto updated Kindle notification while it was installing and the new version shows up on the Splash Screen. Thanks guys great job

fallenJust checked, doesn't appear bottom right or anywhere on the screen. Game would not exit to start a new game. Force Closed App, Shut down Kindle, rebooted. Still would not go to splash screen. It displayed the "continue" screen, as if the game had never ended. Performed "Remove from Device". Reinstalled from cloud, Then I got Splash Screen for starting new game. No version showing.. Should I post any follow ups in the Age of Pirates Bug Forum, or stay on this thread until the version number appears? I don't want to clutter up this thread with off topic. Awaiting further orders Cap'un

I really like that the trade quantity fixes have made their way into the game. Makes the interface so much easier to deal with, especially since Basic Rations are so important to the captain.
Good work!

The version number is on mine. It is hard to see but it is right above the continue button on the far right side. (Still v0.1.9 dammit.)

rsgong Hi glad to hear you see the version number. Probably a dum question, are you using Kindle Fire first generation, or HD?.
On Kindle HD I turned the brightness up to 100% and exaimned the screen with a magnifying glass. I'll give it another shot in the morning.

rsgongThanks allot for the info really appreciate it. I think the first gen fire uses droid 2.4 operating system, Amazon modified. Kindle fire HD uses a Amazon modified version of Droid 4 operating system. Maybe that could be a problem. I did remove the side loaded Alpha version prior to installing Age of Pirates Elite. I'm thinking of just wiping everything including the cloud version. Which will require me to purchase it again. For an extra 3 bucks it's worth it either way.
