control buttons on the left hand side of the screen

Being right-handed, I would like it if they were located on the right hand side instead. You'd have to raise them some so as not to collide with the settings button. Can we make this a configurable option, as the left handed people probably love the buttons where they are right now.

I'm left-handed but I'd like them on the right as well.
Perhaps make this an option?
