Newest elite game version.
Several times I have noted that I am failing commissions as soon as I leave port, after accepting them.
I was able to reproduce this by accepting 2 or more commissions.
The jump appears random. One time, jumped from January to June 413.
Another, from May to July 414.
I did not see this in earlier versions.
The date will also jump when leaving a port if you have active commissions. Making it impossible to complete a chain.

Just curious, did you do anything in the Port after accepting these commissions?
e.g. Trade large quantities of cargo, Upgrade/Buy ship, Sorcerer healing
These actions will all take up some time.

Direct exit. I factored in the other time consumption. So I did experiments with out any other activity

No change to time code since Alpha.
Did you happen to check for Developer Options on your device?

I just experienced the same thing. Had about 200 days left on two commissions, left port and they both failed, costing me my letters of marque. I'm pretty sure the date jumped by a few months. Maybe from january to jun?
Life as a privateer just got a lot harder :-(

This might be important: country/culture settings are dutch: That means Jan 1st 408 is listed at 1 jan 408 (or 06-01-408 for short) rather than (01-06-408)

I think this is due to stopping and listening to the Sirens. They've been known to put unwitting sailors into a deep sleep for months at a time and when you wake you have no memory of what happened to you. Did you check to see if your pants were on backwards?

47 year career. You have taken 307 commissions, and upon being offered, have rejected 1362. Of the missions you have accepted, you have completed 196 and failed 26. You have allowed 85 to expire uncompleted after having been assigned them.
This is the date jumping bug. I can't estimate how many game years I lost. At least 5.
