I'm in an Heavy Eastwinder. I took a Commission to capture a spy. He was in a Fluyt Trader. I closed with him and wrecked his masts and sails, acheiving victory. (YAY!).
I transferred all his goods to my ship.
Then I wondered how I was supposed to fulfil my Commission -- I am not to burn this ship as he and his crew have to stand trial.
I decided on 'take ship'. No, that was the wrong thing, I don't want to abandon my Eastwinder. Thank you for the warning, I hit the 'No' button for that ...
I decide that 'leave ship' is the best thing to do.
At this point I am getting told that unless I transfer goods to the Fluyt Trader, they will be lost. So for a horrible moment I thought I had actually abandoned my Eastwinder.
Thankfully, the ship is still there, it is only the message at this point that was wrong.
But the whole thing is very confusing for novice spy hunters like me. After the victory I wanted a nice 'imprison captain and crew for trial' button or something like that.
