I just noticed that when I am in a battle, if I turn off the screen of my phone and then turn it back on the battle resets back to the initial encounter screen. All damage to the enemy ship is then reset to full health and such. Even if I have killed the enemy ship but have not yet clicked into the Victory screen.
Easily reproducible for me.
EDIT: However after further examination I have found that while it appears to reset my ships health back to the origional pre-battle values, after the battle any damage I sustained in the pre-reset battle will still show up, even though it appeared to be forgotten in the post-reset battle screen.
