story line rep requirements

I'm on my third play through. I'm finding that the silver requirements for the 5k and 50k plot points far out strip the faction reputation requirements.
Would 500 and 1000 be a bit more of a challenge?
In my current game, trading for the first 5 years, I'm already at 1800 rep. With 6k silver


It would also be interesting if the rep and silver requirements increased with the difficulty setting.

I agree with Baldie,story rep caps are too easy to reach(especially selling S&P), early than cash caps (the 50k is long to catch, in game years terms)

With 8 difficultly settings, would a 10 percent increase in gold and rep for each be challenging? At first I was thinking 25 percent. But that might be a tad tough.

So starting with 1k/5k/50k at simpler difficulty and raising of 10% per diff increase? And same thing with rep? Ahahahahah wow at Insane the Silver cap is impossible xD

That's the point! But eh, I'm disappointed that the silver Will only be impossible at insane. ;-) perhaps 300% at insane?

Well, following a secure trade route and doing some commission, the 50k is very very very long to reach...at greater difficulties, if u want to speed up the process probably u wont arrive at the end(u die xD)

Depends on your faction rep. There is a marked increase around every 1k. I have yet to hit 5k, but I'm guessing the rewards are around 2k and greater for commissions.
