Once AoP goes through many updates, is it gonna be like a better and bigger star traders, like a star traders 2?

Not in my view, no.
It doesn't have any of the feature of ST2.
AoP is also much simpler than ST and targets a slightly different group of people.

I mean there are definetly alot of similarities. ST to AoP translation: Explorer = gather, tactics = commanding, pilot = sailing, stealth = navigating, haggling = negotiate, fencing = warrior, urban = port, wild = beach, palace = castle, spice hall = tavern, contract = commision, alien - kraken, cannon = gun, long gun = torp etc. There are also similarities in gameplay like map movement, officers, conflicts, shortages/surpluses etc. I mean its different from st story-wise, but age of pirates is partly based on ST. What features do you expect in ST2 that isnt in ST1/Age of Pirates?

AoP is based on ST and from a game design standpoint there are mappings like you describe.
I've never disagreed with that point.

You do have a point that it targets a slightly different group of people with the different story and themes (eg knight, pirate/open sail/medieval theme, ports and beaches etc). Although its a game by you so therefor everyone would enjoy it.

The very fact that I received an e-mail from someone called 'Grandma Jane' who wanted to thank me for making a game her grand kids enjoyed ... we're on the right track.
AoP is then times more polished than ST was when it was released and if we can get over the discovery hump with Google Play, we'll have a chance at another successful game.
