Cool! At one point I was recording the costs of the vessels. But ended up stripping them out when I thought that my haggling skills were reducing the prices from a base rate. Then finding the same vessel for a completely different price at another dock, several times.
Kinda figured that the wealth of a port affected the price. I've got no fears that you're all on the case.
An idea struck me about an hour ago and so I've added an upgrade tab to the sheet. This should enable players to determine what their ship stats will be like. It's still a work in progress as the idea was sound in my head, but the application and implementation of the idea has had some teething troubles
OK I've got drop down menus for the Upgrade section of the sheet. Google Doc's is a tricky beast to work with when you are used to MS Excel. I know that it can't handle a few things and I'm still working on this, along with a proper solution to percentages.
