Does it take time to buy ranks? I bought 2, and then put to sea and was told that 'failure will not be tolerated' and stripped of a rank. I didn't think that I was anywhere close to having a Commission expire before I went to Port.

It does take time, but only about 8 hours.
I've got #1813 logged to see if there is any bug here.

It does take time, but only about 8 hours. I've got #1813 logged to see if there is any bug here. Well there is for sure one bug -- losing a rank doesn't show up in the log, the way buying one does. Whether there are 2 bugs or not .... that I do not know. I will pay closer attention in the future now that I know what to look for. |

This is now fixed, buying a rank costs between 4-8 hours maximum.
