So I just made a trade for a whopping 5422s 13c (I saved 20 shot and powder considering there was a Kraken rumor going on) and had to share it. I had to leave the map I was on and go quite a ways to find a wealthy population center to fill up on Shot and Powder but I made it back before the rumor expired. It was at the top of the rumor list, which I think means it was about to disappear.

I was in Rão Isabelle in World Harbour where there was 'extensive trading going on' -- the stores were overstocked with everything. I heard of a shortage in Powder and Shot in Prestatyn in the Stone Coast. I filled my starter Fluyt with shot. One broadside hitting me now, and I will go up like the sailing bomb I am ....
But I snuck back in ... and now have nearly 2500 silvers in the coffers ... and it is only July 408!

athios - as an aspiring Captain, do you mind if I ask where you got 317 maps? Essentially, buying and looting every single Map and Journal available for 17 years. B) It's pretty easy to do considering it costs no cargo space. However, I consider this an illogical loophole, and will start a thread in Bug Reports for a fix. |
