Templar Neptune Specialist seen at Comic Con

I wasn't there - I never got to see it, but my scouts informed me that a Neptune Specialist was seen in full armor at Comic-Con 2013.


Wired magazine commissioned Stan Winston Studios and Legacy Effects to create a 3 meter tall Mech with a human pilot. If this isn't the COOLEST thing ever to wear as a costume, I'll eat a Rychart hat!

Oh ... and over the next few days, Wired are releasing videos of how they made the thing! I'll post them as they are available

Kind of a rickety but cool practical study of some of Masamune Shirow's mechanical expertise. Ive only seen the integrated arm slaved-waldo design on Landmates before.
