I am going to add a few UX fixes here: - New Screen for Execution vs. Death - New "Why You Died" text on Death Screen (Health, Rads, etc) Those would both be very cool!

Sounds like I need to go back to the laboratory for more testing -- because this water-fuel tank sounds like more trouble than it is worth. Even with the bug, the Tank is awesome. For the smaller ships, depending on how much fuel you carry, it can more than double your effective cargo capacity.

I'm convinced I can fix (I always am) this bug and make the Water Tank fixed.
I cannot give up on this because there are 4 more upgrades queued that are fun to use (Records, Weapons, Spice and Luxury) Tanks.

New Death:
"Executed for Crimes" DESC="The Captain\'s crimes and reputation have finally come full circle and there is no escape from the scales of justice. Death of the guilty is not be swift. The Captain\'s career will end here."
Stu -- Sorry =)

I'm in agreement about the tank being too awesome to scrap. I don't mind working around it right now. It only seems to be an issue if you're trying to trade quickly under an embargo.

YOu can't get rid of the water-fuel tank though ... it's one of the most important purchases that a trader can buy because having it means you can still carry great amounts of cargo, and always have sufficient levels of water-fuel to get from A to B. I do know that there is a glitch with the way you have to buy water-fuel when your conventional hold is almost full (ala OldAlchy's post on this thread), but that's probably because the water-fuel tank is bolted into your hold and you are forever playing Tetris with the existing stores in order to move one unit of fuel into the water-fuel tank at a time.

MTKnife There are two ways you can loose health (and die if you have already 1 health) when you surrender. First is surrendering to the pirate. They will loot your cargo and sometimes beat you up. I guess the probability is based on the strenght/warrior skill. Second is surrendering to any faction that has a warrant on you - you end up in the prison, and as you know, many nasty things can happen in prison, no sudden death but loosing one point of health. I don't know if surrendering to the pirate with a warrat on you will get you looted and imprisoned. If so - on rare occasions you might loose 2 health after surrendering. I think that you had 1 health before the encounter/surrender, you just didn't realize how fast it went down from 10 to 1 on several occasions before. Cory will prepare the update that makes that information more visible to the players (not sure when, tho).

No, I definitely had Health 10 on this occasion.

"Men, we can't reach the fuel tank because the hold is full of vudka and chemicals. If we want to get off of this rock, we're going to have to drink our way to the gas cap. Some of you may die or go blind, but that's a risk I'm willing to take."

spike, stop talking and start drinking! That hydrogen peroxide isn't going to purge itself! When you're done with that, try some of the green stuff.
