Been playing ST RPG and liked it enough to buy Elite, but none of the problems I had with RPG were cured with Elite. I'm playing with Samsung Note 8 inch android. And here is my suggestion list:
1. Delete Captains at the creation page. Only workaround here is to go to manage applications and delete data, which deletes all captains, not just the one I want to redo. I had several with the same name and that just got confusing. Right now there are just new and continue buttons.
2. After combat the message tells me the auction value, but there is no auction button. I guess old hands don't read that anymore, but new players will want to sell, get some extra change, and annoy a faction some more. Please add auction button or remove the text because it just confuses us new players. Would also be nice option to stick on a prize crew and tow the ship in to nearest harbor if enough crew survived, especially if a first mate is on board.
3. Star Dock > Military base > Rank Ships select a ship. Now select "ships". A "select a bid" window with nothing to select pops up. Only way to get out of this is to use tablet back button. Only way to alternate between rank ships is tablet back button not the intuitive ships button.
4. Needs a non-encounter means to consult the big map. I'm constantly having to exit out to map to see if a 17au and 12 au route are in-line or on opposite sides of the map. But the game reads this as actually flying into space and re-landing, wasting water etc.
5. If there are best starting exploration sites, or best planets for this or that, then there should be an in-game means for a player to get the intel. Rumors, first mate's advice, etc.
6. I need to access HELP from station wilderness etc, without having to fly into space and have an encounter and waste water.
7. HELP should also be accessible inside character creation.
8. The Character Creation ships don't have speeds listed. To figure out the speeds I had to create a character with one ship, delete, create another character delete, repeat.
