I just have not entered the required log text.
if you want to suggest something, you can use a format like:
"Today in near the sector of {0} the {1} was attacked by the Alien. The Alien, which we believe we identified as {2} killed us. All of us. Just a few minutes ago. Suck!"
0=Deep Space
1=Vae Victus
2=Krangg Alien

I would think it ought to sound like a last log entry before the end.
"This will be my last log entry. The aliens have slaughtered my crew and I have barred myself in my cabin. They are attempting to blast the door down to get to me. To anyone exploring {insert place here} STAY AWAY!"

Is there, perhaps, a way to alternate between the two? By using a RNG or something similar? One time you die you get one message, the next you may get the other. I like Kelvin's idea, that'd be a pretty cool final log template for even non alien losses?
