I thought about something... Why is it impossible to get back into the tunnels? Maybe have some Backroom Contact sell you a way how to get into the tunnels again ? Hm? I mean... maybe you have a Safehouse there, hm? And... What about a submarine getting you from Dorchester to Charles Canal? Sent from my HTC Desire using proboards

Jacob - the tunnels are built and balanced for a beginning Cyber Knight, so we won't be letting you back down there any time soon. However, there are plans to open up more tunnel sections under Boston. After all, we are the city of the Big Dig.

''Soon'' means? And... If you let us down here, tell us that.. Yakashima, Mars Corp or... Fennian took the place over and that the REAL War is going on down there, so you'll need Nano-Armor, a few Allys and such stuff... What's the BEST armor available IG? It's widely known in the NBZ that the true top notch ware is being sold in tunnels and backrooms... But what's the best armor you can get if you have the right connections and/or the needed cash? Oi, and... fallen Tell the Tunnel Comp to dig faster... What's used to keep the Tunnels from crashing? I'd suggest Netal. Nano-Bot-reinforced Metal. Quite solid, but expensive. Who's funding the Work? Mars, I assume, as they've got the most cash... Sent from my HTC Desire using proboards

Speaking of which. Just what is the difference between Runners and Allies? I have plenty of Runners when needed. But considering the XP cost to convert, I haven't had any Knights survive quite long enough to get my knight statted-out, nor runners survive long enough to manage this feat

Rehiring runners cost more and more as they gain xp so at some point it makes sense to convert them, unless you're loaded with yen. Allies stay with you for good and you can rehire them as well for small xp cost if you dismiss them. I've done this just once so far for a cost of 1 xp.
One of the duties of even established knights is dragging newbie runners across gang territory doing simple jobs in order to learn them the ropes of surviving the hostile life of corporate employment.
One thing you can do is focus on athletics + action points first so your runners can better run away in combat.

Teaching new runners the ropes in gang land ... for new runners, or when morning the fallen
