I think you need to add an option to complete missions in ports where you can't go to the docks. It gets very frustrating when you go to a port and can't even go somewhere where a mission is. Actually made me rage quit the game. If you want to make it a challenge you could make it so you fence your way through the guards or something.

Do you know why the Docks was closed? Was it Reputation or a Rumor? Sorry you 'rage quit' I guess you were pretty involved wit the Mission  |

I was, and it happened like 2 or 3 missions in a row. I think it was reputation because it was like every port. I guess I pissed everyone off. I started over again and only did missions in areas where my allies have pretty much every port, so that issue doesn't really come up anymore. Being a pirates hard because I pissed off everyone, even the guys I don't fight so I started killing them all.

It happened to me because the docks burned down, now they're still not rebuilt.
