But if that's how you treat your practice equipment, it will be crushed soon.. .

It's okay if I break the Song. I'll just find a new punching bag. Maybe the Valtos.

And if you make all houses extinct, what will you do then? No wars = no fun. Indy ships are too weak and carry no cargo.

Obviously, that's what the xenos are for. Extinct the non-Cadari houses and syndicates, then I can finally just kick back and reeeeelax into an endless war with the xenos, without any further disruptions by others.

It's hilarious that you think Cadar can survive a war with the Xenos by itself, Darth Cthoras .

It's hilarious that you're not nicer to the Cadari, given it's our unparalled firepower keeping them from devouring you all.

Maybe that's true, if you only consider quantity of weapons rather than quality. Besides, most of our worlds are too far away from Cadar's "assistance", and we're not being devoured for it. The Hyperion Demonic Nebula isn't in Cadar's backyard.

Please. We all know the Song settled near it to protect their masters. Why else did you think everyone chose systems as far from the Song as possible?

Claiming the Song is under the control of Xeno Cultists seems hypocritical, as well as inaccurate. Besides, the Factions didn't even choose where they colonized, they were forced into their positions by Templar Command. Obviously, the Templars trusted the Song above all other Factions to hold the line against Xeno incursions in remote regions.

Clearly Templar Command has already been compromised. There's nothing left to do but wipe them out along with all non-Cadari.

Templar Command only has control of where and when their Naval stations were built and where Templars are deployed. The Factions chose where to settle themselves after refusing to continue the journey to the Farfallen Rim.

Once the colony hives touched down on a world, it was beyond the power of the Templars to remove the settlers.

I was under the impression that the Templars had control of which worlds the factions settle on because of ST4X.

I was under the impression that the Templars had control of which worlds the factions settle on because of ST4X. In 4X, the entity that you control is an amalgamation of the Templars, and the leaders of the Faction. For example, the Templars do not dictate what Factions build on their worlds. So, in some actions of the game you are playing the hand of the Templars, and in other parts of the game, the hand of the Factions.
