One thing that I would really like to see as a very high level ladder reward is something along the lines of "We won't be forgetting the work you've done for us," and after that your rep doesn't naturally degrade over time with that faction, or decreases at a significantly slower rate. Its really annoying to work so hard at a relationship with one group and lose all that progress when you spend 5 minutes working with another. Its like a super jealous girlfriend, which might actually be by design now that I think about it.
This mechanic could also work against the CK. Say your knight had been "made" by one faction (or whatever you'd call this) and then started murdering their goons for a while, became a legendary terrorist or whatever. The faction wouldn't be about to forget that either, it would be seen as an act of betrayal, and you would have a much more difficult time getting back into their good graces.

The more rep you have with a faction, the slower they forget you, so in some sense this is already there. But I take it you would like to see the effect more pronounced? I'd like that too.

The original game design included flags for Hated, Wanted, an Alliance between the Knight and factions. I have added #CK-2085 to take another look at this in the future.

grävling That is surprising to me, as I've found it to be the exact opposite. Factions I have little rep with hardly ever lose rep when I sleep, whereas factions I am super well regarded by always lose at least 1 point (usually two).
