A way to stim/heal a team member would be nice.
This is key because when you first get any of them, their stats make them fodder. Especially by semi-mid game when you're doing BraveStar, Blue Ox or the like and just getting from one place to another, or just completing multiple missions in one zone will risk getting assault-squads on you.
I've got my CK able to handle up to maybe Yak assault squads, perhaps even KH ones now almost solo. But aside from running truly crap Los V missions for hours straight to build up XP for them, any new-hire runner simply cannot survive anything above Los V/Streets/Fennian squads without some extreme luck. Even when I stim/heal them up to 7-9/10-11 HP/MP as soon as I hire them (between headlozz, hyper-v and a medikit)
And if one gets winged in even a lower-level combat (say low-end dogs or gangers with uzi's) As using items uses up so much of their already-minimal AP, I can use a 9-heal Medi-pack, and have the next turn a lucky set of shots kill him anyway. I'd rather let my semi-tank CK sit still a round or two to heal the guy and let him run, than basically have to write-off almost every new runner without baby-handling them for a long time even with a 3+ job comp

Alex Fury - thanks for the feedback! We do have this on the roadmap as #CK-749, allow character to use an item on an adjacent friend. We are working on some shorter term cybernetic implant solutions that might help struggling runners, hopefully they will appear in the next release!

I like the idea of being able to heal your buddies, very much.
Note for training runners -- don't try this unless you have a Heat-tolerant Taxi Driver, King or Jennings, because getting stuck in Oxland is deadly --
1. Get in good with the Streets. 2. Take jobs from Slick in their VIP lounges. These are ~1000Y jobs to kill Blue Ox. You can also get message deliveries there from 2 other Connectors. 3. When you get there you may be able to supplement your income by doing a few more assassinations for Cognac Brawn once you have his chip. He has lots of 'Kill Ox' missions as well.
There are 2 problems with this strategy -- there is only one Inn in Oxland, so you will have to use a heat-tolerant taxi driver to leave. (Or have good rep with the Blue Ox, but this won't last long if you use it as a training ground for runners.)
The other is that occasionally the Ox are entertaining Aztek Drone salesmen when you come knocking on the door, so you have to kill an Aztek squad. But they use single shot weapons, so it's not that bad. Not as bad as Bravestar or KH, by any means. I have yet to see a Horizon drone or a Predator drone doing this, so the worst you get are those big Cannons.
If you are going to be doing training, it is nice to be earning decent money while you do so. But still, I mostly hire my runners 2 at a time, because I expect one of them to die during training.

I know that you can get King from Fennian Ladders, but where can you get Jennings again? Ladder, ok, but from what faction?

Then.... Why is the Gentleman King available as a drop? I thought he's a KH Leader?

Then.... Why is the Gentleman King available as a drop? I thought he's a KH Leader? He is indeed a KH leader/Connector. But he is also available from Victor. Strange the way the NBZ interconnects. He doesn't care how many people have his V-chip, but if your rep with KH is not high enough, he won't give you any work.

There are 60 shops in the NBZ that offer jobs. There are 20 V-Chips you can get for Connector-Contacts who you can call for jobs There are 34 Connector-Contacts in Backrooms
