I have no doubts much of this is in the work. But a general list in my mind.
1) Show MP somewhere in the hacking screen. If you can take MP damage, need to know when you should disconnect.
2) perhaps a running track of how much you've pulled from a system for data? (might be there, don't have a current hacker to check)
3) Some ability to get XP while hacking. Given, +1 per successful task would be stupidly broken. A 1/6 chance for each time you manage a first data-pull might be semi-reasonable. Perhaps worse, as I know hacking CAN be used as a bit of an exploit for easy money (I've never yet managed this)
4) A mission to hack in somewhere and get data. Whether it be from anywhere, or hack from a certain building (perhaps a hack-action added at target location?)
5) Actual matrix 'combat'
6) More programs (attack, decoy, defense, armor (we have), etc.
7) If you get enough heat (low enough time, perhaps 1 bar?) No matter where you're at you have a chance to have a guaranteed combat. (basically, someone you hacked was able to trace you
8) Potential 'gear' hacks. IE: One-shot pass for BraveStar gate / Thopter ride (even if crap rep with them)
9) Trader-useful data: (perhaps a mission) can find useful cyber-doc info. perhaps help unlock weapon upgrades
10) (no offense) but better matrix-map. Given, again I haven't done much hacking yet, but what I recall of the one someone created and posted, there's really only one or two 'deep' dive areas off one just one or two single points IIRC. (I might be willing/able to help with this one)
11a) Hack to 'improve rep'. Either a way to upload false data, or delete surveillance that they have on you. (larger heat/-rep for fails)
11b) Hack to reduce heat. Variant of above
