Narvidian Sentinel-
Upon successful capture of a narvidian ship, yoy get the option of recruiting a narvidian soldier, busted and defective after the attack and no longer trying to kill you.
Would act as +50 crew during boarding, stacking with artifacts in hold. Aside from being hard to recruit, the excessive bonus could be offset by giving a slim (~.5 percent base) chance of going insane each turn, attacking you and your crew as a mutiny. It could also stack with artifacts.
Just a random idea I had.

joe - thanks for the post. It is, however, a well-established fact within the Star Traders universe that Narvidians and all aliens are hostile. We'd love other ideas for more officers, but you will not find any friendly aliens in our universe.

Not to mention the fact that he would facehug you to death. Because that's how aliens do things, right? Knock you up after just one date with chestbursting love-child?

Yeah - disappointed about Prometheus ... it had so much potential!
Narvidians and Humans really don't get on, and taming one would be pretty impossible, if only for the fact that the Narvidian will want to eat you, mate with you, or mutate you. Possibly all three.

Lol okay, then same effects as above, but rename it "alien love child". What? You don't think I could make a good motherfather to a forcefully concieved hybrid? I would love it and feed it and teach it to devour all those pesky cadari pirates who say hello. Don't try to tell me my captain can't survive an internally forced c section when he loses the majority of his limbs exploring and the rest getting run through with plasma lances.
