Why are they annoying? What could make this more fun. Do they just show up too often? Hopefully the ability to dismiss helps.

fallen : I found them annoying because when I had the skill to heal them (and thus to hire them for free) I already had a team on my own and the skills of the new ones was no match to the runners I turned into allies. So having them on my team make me pay more for taxi and don't boost my team that much... Yes the dismiss button is very useful Maybe that if I could success earlier (i.e by downgrading difficulty to heal those) they would be more useful.

I also find them quite annoying. Do you now that you can dismiss them whenever you like ? Double-tap the portrait of the main character, go to team, scroll to the character sheet of the runner you want to dismiss and hit the big red button with a white " - " in it and he's gone. For my part I use a cybersword and a hacker to complete my team (the sword to fight things that comes too close to Ghost and for Body+Intimidation and the hacker for Mind+Electronics). Yeah, I know that I can dismiss them, I just feel some loyalty to them after patching them back up and then they get enough xp so I convert them and have a hard time telling them to sit the fun out. It's probably a personal relational issue that I have. Actually I figured they would die pretty quickly. Which in the end two of them did and now I'm back to Ghost (a sniper who can also do negotiate/intimidate) and Spider (a gunslinger who can do electronics and hacking). It's a pretty good combo and not too much taxi fare or too many people to move in combat.

contributor : I understand your sentiments towards people you save but as Mercer would say :"be like the metal. Sentiments are for weak and dead." I.use pretty much the same combo as you, 3 people on the field and the runners to do what I can't (hacking, intimidating, etc...) Though I prefer to negotiate myself and early on the game to get as much money as I can...but that's because I'm greedy

To get this to come up you need to Find Sarah's diary, hack it to read it, and then question her about it. If you do so, you will lose the option to put them both on the boat (as Eliza won't go). Personally, I think this is nuts. I am in the business of stunning people and putting them in sacks so they can be hauled off places that they do not want to go. So I think that if I want Eliza on the boat with her Mom, she's going to wake up at sea. I'd like the ending a lot better if I had to pick between all 3. Sorry to necro but this made me laugh out loud. Tasers for the win. I'm training runners now, but they're so far behind on skills when you first get them that you park them away from enemies so they live to get experience. Iconhunter the hacker wasn't too bad to level (I could send him after weak loners at least), Trogger type Cyberswords aren't even decent meatshields. I was floored when I got a martial artist (both art and skill)- 'oh hey she actually killed something!'. The other thing, and this may just be because I'm on easy, is that the runners don't seem to have much variety in skill sets- either they hack or they brawl. I could invest in their other talents, but as tough as it is to keep them alive for exp, I'd rather shove points in the tiny skills they all ready got rather than babysit them any more then I have to.

Thanks to grävling and fallen for the tips. I now have Eliza Krofter for a runner on my Crazy squad. It looks like she can handle every type of weapon. Is it too early to start talking about love and Cyber Knight marriage? I haven't done the turn them over to Mars ending but I think that keeping Eliza on your squad is the best, even though you don't get much in terms of material reward.

Bwaahhhaaahhhhaaaa!!! Eliza is dead. She got trapped between two AzTek soldiers in a narrow alley. Needless to say this Knight will be bleeding AzTek till there's none left to spill. Anyone know any contractors that give out assassinations exclusively against AZ?

Anyone know any contractors that give out assassinations exclusively against AZ? Is that laughing maniacally or crying? I'm scared now. Ibfound this by accident, but try finding a data terminal in aztec territory and poke around the net until your heat is sky high. Proceed to inflict crimes against knight-namity. In other news, isn't Eliza like a teenager?

Anyone know any contractors that give out assassinations exclusively against AZ? Striker in the Mars VIP lounge gives out Aztek capture and assasinate missions, pretty much exclusively. However if Eliza was on your team, I suspect that Mars isn't feeling particularly freindly towards you now.

But BS likes, you, right?
Chris Grygiel in the BS VIP lounges has a lot of Aztek Capture missions ...

grävling +1 you are a font of CK knowledge. And you would be correct in assuming that Mars is not too happy with me right now, but that is going to change.
