On the subject of XP -
1) XP for killing monsters is awarded to the group, no questions asked (who killed, distance, etc). 2) Disabling or surviving a trap grants +1 XP to the specific character. 3) Getting the killing hit on a Boss grants a special XP bonus to the specific character.
Generally, your characters are going to have very similar XP and should be roughly at the same level.

On the subject of XP - 2) Disabling or surviving a trap grants +1 XP to the specific character. That would be why my thief and outlander are typically a bit ahead of the cleric & wizard, they are the ones to usually either trigger (or disable) the traps I come across. Thanks much for the explanation on how getting experience works.

It would be useful (IMO of course) to be able to visualize the level of power you already have in attributes, skills and talents. When I level up, I don't always remember what I already allocate.

What am I missing? I've no idea how you are meant to level up or improve skills, I can't see a way to do it anywhere...

Worked it out - not particularly obvious though! I presume there will be a tutorial of sorts for the finished version. Thanks for the help!

Great Idea! Also I would like to point that my chars are on sensibly different xp... I also had the impression that xps go per kill...

A new question approaches!
While playing through on Hard I noticed something, when I leveled up all of my characters gained +2 Attribute points, +2 Skill points, and +1 Talent point except for my wizard, he got +2/+1/+1. Any particular reason, or was this a bug?

Any particular reason, or was this a bug? Were your outlander/cleric & thief triggering traps but not really your wizard?

The number of advantage points that you gain per level is based on your class, your number of skills, and the count of attributes upon which you rely. So, levels will be different per characters at times.

Any particular reason, or was this a bug? Funny though, I had exactly the same number of points in my game - maybe we just play in a similar style?
