Two small requests,
1) When we hit enough XP for a level, can there be some kind of indicator. Unless I missed it, there is nothing at the moment to let me know that I've leveled up. I just rested at a camp site and was pleasantly surprised by a level up prompt!
2) When distributing points, can we have the game prompt us "do you want to increase (skill name)?" or something, and if we actually confirm our distribution have it back us out to the level up prompt? As it is now there is a very real chance of accidentally distributing your point to the wrong skill. Also, having to click "back" every time makes the process seem longer. (I realize a confirmation prompt will mean that everything is requiring the same amount of taps, but not having to hit the "back" button makes everything seem nicer in my opinion)
Of course, feel free to turn me down!

1) Perfect, its on the roadmap!
2) Don't you have to click the row you want, and then click Train at the bottom? We are working on the Talents leveling to allow the game to show you the 10 power progression of the talent so you can see where you are and where you are going before you decide to train. But for Attributes / Skills, the "click row, then click Train" seems to fit the confirmation bill for me?
On the back button, we don't like adding extra clicks if we don't need them. However, if you are out of leveling points, I can see why we would boot you back a screen automatically. Added it!

Ignore my suggestion regarding that, please. Well actually, on second thought it might not be so good to have the screen automatically back out. The player might wonder if the skill point was properly distributed... Hmm, I'm not really sure how to go about this. It sounds like you guys are trying to add more feedback about the leveling process though, adding in a simple "X" (x being your current skill level) on the icon might be enough. Or, maybe use that divider between the skill ic9n and the description as a level indicator. Divide it into 10 segments and have one light up for each skill point? I dunno! Just tossing some ideas out there.

Figuring out what to level up is a bit difficult.
By the way, some of the descriptions for the talents/etc. run off the edge of the screen on an iPhone 4S.
Speaking of levelling, is there a bug with levelling? I had upgraded the cleric's healing ability and the description switched from healing 35 points to healing 70. The thief had full health, triggered a trap, and took a -50 HP hit. The cleric healed her for ... 34 points.
So is the 70 points just a max? That doesn't make sense to me since she had been healing at about 35 points in combat before. I was expecting the thief to heal up to max again.

That's definitely an interesting report about Level 2 Cleric Healing. No problem with getting the full 70 points here.
The text + edge of screen is listed in the known issues as are some other ones to be aware of. Good list to review.
Right now, after testing the download on my iPhone, I see no bugs in leveling. Maybe double check that you confirmed the Advantage point?

If by "confirmed the advantage" you mean what was done at the campfire, then yeah.
I'm in the middle of combat right now. The description for "Myshana's Tear 2: Heals 70 health".

Ok, weird, the thief is now at full health? I don't know how that happend, since I saw the +34 came up on the screen. I'll assume for now that I hallucinated that, but if it comes up, I'll make a note of it.

I saw the same thing myself, it was only on the first cast of healing after upgrading the talent (cast from the 'shortcut area'). After I saw that I went into talents and confirmed it said +70 healing instead of the original amount, and clicked on it there to heal instead of the shortcut area where I normally cast it from and the second and every cast after that have been the over 70.

Ok, so here's what happened next. I am pretty sure I saw 34 last time, but:
(1) I forgot what difficulty level I was playing at, so I went to the menu, and looked at starting a new game to look up the names of the difficulty level (2) Hit continue and it took me back to the turn before the thief hit the trap (3) Moved the thief into the trap and got hit -50 (4) Cleric healed, got +71 points (as it should)
So I don't know what that was all about. If I were not hallucinating, I wonder if that reloading process reset the actual level of the cleric's spell? Eh, I don't know. Next time I level up, if this comes up again, I'll mention it. I'll try to post it as soon as it happens, assuming it happens.

evmaker and hosh - wow, _awesome_ report. Thank you so much for the details, that makes it really clear now what is happening. We have added it to the list as #HOS-2193 to get this fixed! The old talent is still bound to your HUD ... going to the menu, or talents list should resolve this!

Hey, so experience points are awarded for kills, not for the party right, and not for support actions like healing and buffs?
Not sure if I like that entirely. It means every party member would have to put some points into combat and spread out effort at making the killing shot. I can deal with it, though that kind of planning is not something I like to do in addition to tactics.

I'm not sure it's just for kills, maybe the most amount of experience is to the one who killed, but my cleric for most of the time I played at first never killed a single thing and just healed. When I wandered back to camp one time though to regain spirit and was surprised that I had skills and stuff to choose, all members of my party did including my cleric (hence the also noticing the ~30 heal after leveling the healing spell) even though they had never killed anything at that point.

Fair enough, I will keep that in mind then. My mage and cleric has less XP, but maybe I simply have not been having them take as much actions as I could have.
